The current owners have very recently transformed the kitchen into a brilliant, spacious kitchen diner. It’s finished in lovely soft pastel tones with the cupboards and worktops, and everything is fully integrated, including a full size fridge and freezer. They’ve also added some really nice premium touches like a boiling water tap. The best bit though is that all of this sits alongside those stunning views.
The rest of the house carries that same neutral, easy living feel throughout. At the front you’ve a really good sized living room, and upstairs there are three bedrooms along with a recently refitted shower room.
The property itself sits set back from the road, with a sloped driveway providing parking for a couple of cars, and there is always the option of additional visitors parking on the road. There’s also an integral garage which is ideal for storage and all the usual bits that come with family life.
Outside, the front garden is neat and well kept, and because the house sits slightly below the road it feels surprisingly private. A gate leads down the side of the property into the rear garden.
The garden is tiered across two levels. The first tier is laid to lawn and sits directly off the house, while a few steps lead you down to a lovely patio area. It’s a great spot to sit back, relax, and properly take in the view.
And yes, the view really is something special. It stretches right across to Kinder Scout and the surrounding valleys. It’s one of those outlooks that instantly catches your eye and it’s a big part of why the current owners fell for the house in the first place.
The location is another big plus. Disley is a fantastic village with a really strong community feel. You’ve got a great mix of local pubs, cafés and independent shops, along with good rail links into Manchester and easy access to the Peak District. Lyme Park is just down the road too, which is perfect for walks when you want to get out and enjoy the countryside.
