The village has a church, a public house and a village hall while local services can be found at Castle Cary and the local regional centre of Yeovil and the historic Abbey town of Sherborne to the south. Sporting, walking and riding opportunities abound within the area.
The region is well known for its schools which include Millfield, the Bruton Schools, the Sherborne Schools and St Antony's Leweston. Communication links are good with main line stations at both Castle Cary and Sherborne linking with London Paddington and Waterloo respectively, while road links along the A303 joined at Sparkford giving swift access to London and the Home Counties along the M3, M25 route.
To the front of the property there is a driveway that provides off road parking and leads to the integral garage.
The front garden is enclosed by a low level stone wall, whilst the rear, which is mainly laid to lawn, is enclosed by wooden panel fencing and benefits from two wooden sheds.
