Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

It says something about the rarity of houses in this location that the last time I sold here was seventeen years ago! But that is perhaps no surprise as there are only two houses in this postcode, which only goes to prove what a beautiful unspoilt rural area.

This location has it all with magnificent views of open fields and both Beeston and Peckforton Castles, very little passing traffic, and the additional benefit of a separate paddock down the lane which will be included within the sale. It is a slice of unspoilt Cheshire.

The house, grounds and paddock need financial investment and thoughtful planning to maximise their potential, but that of course is also the joy and exciting potential of this project.

The house has a good footprint, with just over a thousand square feet of space and there is, in addition, a garage / storage room. Full modernisation will be needed and once the layout is addressed, this can become a really superb home. The garden to the rear is small but has the most stunning views whilst the garden to the side is larger and very private. The paddock is down the lane and across the road and is a good bonus for those who want additional space or perhaps even a pony or equivalent.

This is a competitively priced house, offered with no ongoing chain and is such a rare buying opportunity.
